The Kurupukari River Crossing

Be sure to like our Facebook Page: Guyana, South America for more!

The Kurupukari River Crossing is where the mighty Essequibo River cuts across the Lethem – Georgetown trail. A ferry takes vehicles across the river every hour of the day from 6: AM to 6 PM. There are presently plans to construct a bridge over the river at this point.

This photo was taken by Patrick Carpen around February, 2019 at Kurupukari, Guyana, South America.
