Padma’s Creole Cuisine is located on the ground floor of Time Square Mall in Golden Grove Village on the East Bank of Demerara. The restaurant serves authentic Guyanese cuisine including roti, dhall puri, dhall, rice, curry mutton, curry duck, curry fish, curry beef, curry chicken, fried rice, barbeque, bake chicken, chowmein, and much more. It also has snacks such as eggball.
Padma’s Creole Cuisine serves breakfast and lunch, but no dinner. Breakfast is served from 6:00 AM to around 9:00 AM. Lunch is served from around 11:00 to 3:30 PM. The restaurant closes at 3:30 PM. However, the later you go, the less choices of food you will have to choose from as most of it would be sold out.
During my stay at Golden Grove on the East Bank of Demerara, I visited Padma’s Creole Cuisine on many occasions. I especially enjoyed the curried chicken liver for lunch, and the tea with milk for breakfast. Padma’s Creole Cuisine serves a generous cup of tea for just $200 GY.
The staff at Padma’s Creole Cuisine are nice, welcoming, hardworking, and friendly. It’s service with a smile. I’d like to mention one by the name of Priya who was especially friendly and helpful.
If you’re passing along the East Bank of Demerara and you need to grab some breakfast or lunch, remember, Padma’s Creole Cuisine is a great option.
