As the ongoing saga between the Mohameds of Lombard Street, Georgetown, and the Guyanese Government heats up, the most recent episode was a war of words between Vice President of Guyana, Dr. Bharrat Jagdeo, and principal of Team Mohamed’s Racing Team, Azzrudin Mohamed. Dr. Jagdeo in a recent address to the Press lashed out at Mohamed’s response to a drone operator flying a drone over his property. Watch video below.

Azzrudin Mohamed responded today via a video statement posted on his Facebook page in which he urged Dr. Jagdeo to choose his words carefully and called him a pathological liar. Watch video below.

The Mohameds have claimed that they are being politically persecuted by the government because of Azzrudin Mohamed’s growing political influence. He asserts that the government is targeting him and his family because they see him as a political threat. Both President Ali and Vice President Jagdeo have denied these allegations, maintaining in essence that they are simply responding to the demands of the country’s legal requirements.
