The British High Commissioner to Guyana, Ms. Jane Miller, took a ride up the Mahaica River with Mahaica River Tours in February, 2022. And she highly recommends it. She says you should go too! Here is Jane Miller’s personal review of the Mahaica River Tour.

Wonderful early morning boat trip today with Ramesh from Mahaica River Tours. This is the first time I have seen Guyana’s Giant Otters so clearly – and also a baby Howler Monkey. I’m feeling very privileged to be based in this beautiful country! Thanks Ramesh for such a super trip.
