Last updated: May 13, 2023 at 4:03 amJust last month, the Rupununi Rodeo celebrations saw thousands of persons pouring into Lethem from all corners of the country and even internationally. But as the dust of Rupununi Rodeo 2023 settles, a new stampede is taking form.
This publication was made to understand that all hotels in Lethem are fully booked for the period of 20th to 28th of May, 2023 as Lethem prepares for its biggest Independence Celebrations ever.
We understand that President Ali will be traveling to Region 9 sometime within the said period. However, we have not had a look at the calendar of activities as yet. What we do know though, is that Independence Celebrations will be bigger than Rodeo this year. We advise you not to travel to Lethem between this period if you have not arranged accommodation beforehand.
