The Mohameds’ extradition process is perhaps the most talked about subject in Guyanese news today. Azzrudin Mohamed has been elected the Parliamentary opposition in Guyana. At the same time, he and his father, Nazar “Shell” Mohamed, are fighting extradition to the United States where they were indicted on 18 counts of alleged financial crimes.
