A resident of the country of Namibia in Southwest Africa has reached out to this publication to seek the public’s help in uniting him with his Guyanese father whom he has never met in all his life.
According to Mr. Willham Cornelius, his mother had traveled to Guyana in the 1980s for medical studies during which she got into a relationship with his father that led to his conception. However, after his mother returned to Namibia, she lost contact with Willham’s father.
I am looking for my father. His name is Hillman William. He was a resident of Albertown, Georgetown, Guyana, South America. My mother was also studying there, and she did medical studies during the Liberation struggle of Namibia. Her name is Sylvia Abraham, and she went there with Miss Nelao and Mr Kalimba of unknown surnames. They started their studies in 1984 and they came back to Namibia in 1989. The person blessing you as a baby was a pastor from my church at Central Assembly of God in Georgetown Guyana. He is now Pastor at Maranatha Assembly of God church in Uitvlught Pasture over the river, as we say in Guyana. Over the river means, over a bridge in Guyana.
