Last updated: July 17, 2024 at 19:09 pmA 25 year old woman identified as Gaitree Katrian of Boskamp, Suriname has been discovered dead in a hotel in Guyana. Her body was discovered sometime on Monday, 15th of July, 2024 by hotel staff in a hotel at West Coast Berbice, Guyana, South America.
Gaitree reportedly checked into the hotel on Thursday, 11th July 2024 and was expected to check out on the day her body was found.
Local news agency Newsroom has reported that a relative of the dead woman disclosed that Gaitree had developed an addiction to inhaling gasoline fumes a few months now. Two bottles suspected to contain gasoline were found near her bed in a sink.
Police are investigating.
